Philodendron Moonlight
About
The Philodendron Moonlight is a beautiful hybrid. It has very beautiful neon green leaves that turn into a darker green as they mature.
The new growth points on this philodendron are hot pink, which is very striking against the lime.
We love lime plants like this for adding bright cheerful color to dark areas (that still get some kind of bright indirect light) or to contrast other plants with darker foliage.
Plant Care
Growth: One of the more bushy philodendrons, which grow lower to the ground, but can reach heights of around 24 inches tall.
Water: Medium watering needs, simply water when the top layer of soil gets dry.
Climate: Mimic it’s natural tropical environment with a warm and humid location for the best growth. Misting often or placing it with a collection of other tropical plants helps increase the humidity.
Light: Bright indirect light, this plant enjoys getting a good amount us light, however placing it in direct sunlight can burn it’s leaves.
Soil: Fluffy, well draining soil. We keep ours in a mixture of coco coir, perlite, and regular potting soil.
Propagation: Easily propagated through stem cuttings and division.
