Philodendron Pink Princess: Black Cherry

About

The Philodendron Pink Princess is a rare plant that has gained popularity in recent years, and thus become more common. The Black Cherry Pink Princess is a little bit more rare, a little bit more moody, and a lot a bit more sexy.

The biggest difference between the pink princess and the black cherry pink princess is color-which is much darker, almost black on the Black Cherry Pink Princess.

Growth : Vining, will grow great vining up a moss pole, as these philodendron are hemi epiphytic (will vine on ground, as well as up trees)

Light : Thrives in bright, indirect light. Place your plant near a window with filtered sunlight to mimic its natural habitat in the tropical rainforests. Also does well under a grow light.
Humidity: Prefers warm and humid conditions.
Water: Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering again. Misting the aerial roots or using a moist moss pole will help tremendously with this plants growth.
Soil : Use a well-draining potting mix containing a combination of coco coir, perlite, and orchid bark, which mimics the plant's natural environment.
Propagation: Easily Propagated by stem and node cuttings.
