Can we take a moment to admire this beautiful Philodendron Squamiferum?
I think I may have a new favorite plant in my collection, and it is this one, Philodendron Squamiferum.
Whenever I look at a plant, I look at it from an artistic perspective, analyzing the shape, color, texture, and form. This Philodendron has it all!
The shape of the leaves is somewhere between the striking shapes of Philodendron Pedatum “Florida Ghost” and the Philodendron Bipennifolium.
Leaf shape alone can be a selling point for me. However, the petioles (the parts of the plant between the leaves and nodes) are just so sexy with their juicy red color and very hairy texture.
I can't wait until this mother plant is ready to propagate, because I really think this plant needs to be in more homes showing just how amazing nature's gifts can be.
