Kalahari was an African Serval that lived at Tigerworld, in Rockwell, North Carolina. At Tigerworld, where my fiancé used to work, Kalahari was one of their many rescue cats.

As a volunteer with experience with big cats, I was allowed to meet Kalahari. She was one of the most loving cats that I have ever met.

Unfortunately, Kalahari is no longer with us, but she left a tremendous mark on the hearts that knew her. That is why I created this painting. With paint, I can show her where I dream that she is now, in a field of wild flowers that is as beautiful as she is.
